You must be wondering what happened to our home sweet home .   I think I haven’t posted an update for the longest time.   I wanted to.   Honest.   It’s just that I didn’t want this blog to be a space for disappointment.   But, I am okay now. Everything is okay now.   Thank you Lord.    The initial plan was to move-in before the end of 2013 but the unit was not delivered on time. Tsk.   So, we re-scheduled the renovation this January.    We encountered another glitch.   Getting a renovation permit was also not that easy.   Well, we understand that we need to submit the requirements.   After all, it’s for the safety of the unit owners.   But, what we couldn’t understand is the permit’s processing time.     Imagine, we were told that it would take one month. One thing I love about my job is that it brings me to different places.   My first airplane experience was funded by the office. Yes, my very first airplane ride only happened two years ago.   Call me poor!   Haha. You know what? For civil servants, work-related travel is generally not a perk.     Aside from spending nights away from home,   the per diem allowance is not that much. Ooops,   I am not complaining.   I am just stating a fact.       The   per diem allowance per employee is P800.   It already covers three meals and hotel accommodation. I bet you all know the rates of hotels.    Still, the idea of travel and work   makes me giddy. Haha. This post is already long overdue.    For the past few days/weeks, I was not in the mood to write .      I was busy with work (I still am).   The issues with the condo developer (agent, employees, whoever!) also stressed me out.   Now,   I am back in shape.   How? I lifted everything to Him   and I counted and magnified   the blessings that my husband and I have been receiving.   Actually, I don’t need to magnify them because they are really enormous.   Thank you Lord!
