HARD WORK+FRUGALITY= HOME SWEET HOME

At long last, we have already moved-in to our home sweet home.  Thank you Lord. I am sooooo grateful!  I am extremely happy.  I cannot put my happiness into words. Ah basta.  Lol.
So, welcome to our humble abode!

This is our kitchen and dining area. Excuse the mess! I'll post a better picture in the future.  I'm just so excited to share.

Our living room. Don't mind the box under the stairs.  I already put it in the storage area.

My favorite part of the house...the stairs.  I was the one who designed it! Haha

That folded table...I already sold it.

Our room.  I  just love the headboard.  Having a tufted headboard is a dream come true.

The guest room.

Our mini library cum storage area.

Toilet and bath.

It may be small.  It may not be situated in a high-end project.  It may not be fab.  But for us, having a home which I can proudly say as the fruit of our hard work and frugality is a huge blessing from God.

    1. Thanks. It’s hard to maintain the cleanliness of the white floor though. Parang I need to clean it every five minutes.

    1. Hi. Thank you. Admittedly, our unit is far from the fab units/houses featured in home magazines. It is also situated in an old building. It’s a repossessed unit, actually. The condo has no swimming pool, gym, basketball court etc. Elevator lang talaga. The condo’s only saving grace is its location. It’s located along Edsa and it's very accessible. Nevertheless, I find our unit beautiful. Haha. Nahiya lang akong sabihin. Haha.
As to your townhouse, pintura lang and lighting, instant bongga yan. And gumaganda ang bahay kapag natitirahan na. Makakalipat din kayo niyan,.
Again, thank you for dropping by my blog.

  7. Hi! Stumbled on your blog upon searching kung ano ba dapat yung icheck upon move in sa bagong bahay. Magmomove in palang kasi kami. Pero Im planning on renovating na kaso I have zero bucks. Yung renovation was done by Triple J builders no. Pano po yung mode of payment? Just planning ahead. :)

    1. Hi. Thanks for dropping by. We paid 15k first. Tapos yung balance, divided into 4 installments. Yes. Triple J yung gumawa. Si Rio Raz may ari nun. I think I posted his contact number sa isa kong blog post.
      Congratulations on your new home.

  8. Hi po!

I was browsing through your blog posts re your renovation. One of these days kasi kailangan ko ng contractor. Cost of Renovating...", Triple R yung contractor ninyo. Then based sa reply nyo sa taas, it's Triple J(?).

    1. kamusta po sila magtrabaho (I mean quality ng gawa and personality)?

    Thank you!

    Sorry sa madaming tanong. :)

    1. Hi. It's Triple R Builders. The proprietor is Mr. Rio Raz.
      2. 1 month and a half ata.
      3. construction only
Dapat same yung gagamitin nila. And if you have time or meron kang makakausap magbantay, it's better pa din bantayan habang ginagawa.

  9. Hello Madam,

Thanks for the info.

So everything else ordinary finish? If yes, mukhang sulit nga yung paint job ninyo, ang ganda ng dating kahit nung ordinary finish.

    1. duco finish yung kitchen cabinets. the rest, ordinary finish lang. satin finish ata yun.
By the way, may mga dinagdag kaming bayad kasi may mga inupgrade kaming materials, specifically yung bathroom tiles, and floor tiles.

  11. Hello Madam,

    Thank you!

Make sure clear yung contract.

  12. Hi. I was also eyeing Triple R for my condo renovation. Nakakuha na ako ng proposal, since may experience sila sa same developer ng condo unit ko. Question po, sila lahat nag install ng appliances niyo tapos sila na rin ang nagprovide ng materials like bathroom fixtures and lights right? What about installation ng aircondition, sila na rin? :)

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
As to bathroom fixtures, kami na yung bumili. Tiles lang sa kanila, pero inupgrade namin.

  13. hi ma'am. question po about the contract. sino po magda-draft nun, sa end na po ba ng contractor yun at pipirma na lang kami if we agree to the terms? salamat po. about the plans naman mentioned sa thread ng comments, are you refering po ba to architectural plans nung lugar or design plans? iba po ba ang charging nila with design plans? thank you po!

    1. Kasali na sa contract price yung plan. I'm sorry but I cannot recall anymore kung anong plan yun. Basta one of the requirements yun ng developer before issuance of renovation permit. Sila na din kasi nag asikaso nun.
